All areas have their own qualifiers and the best from each of the area qualifiers qualify for the national finals at the IPC Festival in August.
Each branch in our area must organise and host the area qualifiers in turn. The mounted games qualifier is organised by a different branch than the show jumping, combined training and dressage qualifier and thus also on a different date and in a different venue.
Further updates on areas qualifiers will be updated as information becomes available.
This is a list of disciplines that have an Area Qualifier:.
Show Jumping Competitions
Dressage Competitions
The Combined Training qualifiers are individual competitions
The particulars about the above competitions, i.e. tests you need, horse eligibility, etc. can be found in the IPC Show Jumping Rule Book, and the IPC Dressage and Combined Training Rule Book. A summary is available on the IPC Guide to Competitions.

MOUNTED GAMES QUALIFIER
In our area the Games Qualifier is on a different day from the SJ, Dressage, and CT Qualifier. It is also organised by a different club and held in a different place.
The organising club has to decide which competitions are offered.
If we want to do Games we need to send two trained adults who know all the Games as helpers to the competitions otherwise our teams will be disqualified.
The finals will take place at the IPC Festival.
If we want to qualify a Games team for the finals at the Dublin Horse Show at the RDS in the beginning of August we have to attend special qualifier days, which will be held around the country. The dates are usually available from the IPC website.
